Fast Room 2
This saves about half a second over the above strat and is not much more difficult. Occasionally a football will spawn in the few frames it can; in that case spinning the cape will usually take care of it.

95 Exit, No Cape
The buzzy bounce into the pipe is a little tricky, but it can save up to 3 seconds. The keyhole needs to be activated as soon as possible to avoid the shell, though jumping is an easy backup.
