Wings
The wings glitch here is pretty tricky, but can save up to 30 seconds.
In All Castles, ditch yoshi after grabbing the wings, or while in the coin heaven.
Tutorial
In addition to the things metioned in this tutorial, it's worth noting that the following give the possibility of hitting the key block, making it impossible to dupe wings:
- Picking up the buzzy beetle while it has horizontal momentum
- Going for the second dupe while the block beneath the invisible key block is spinning

Fast Strat
This is not recommended for beginners.
Let go of right on the D-Pad before dismounting into the turn block. Be careful not to collect the Dragon Coin on the first dupe.
When spinning the turn blocks on the right side, make sure to jump and hit the top block first, then spin. This ensures that the top block will be solid later when grabbing the wings.
Note that the buzzy will wake up after a couple tries at the second dupe, since he wasn't restun. It's reasonable to fall back on a slower strat that spins the shell if the first dupe wasn't executed on the first or second try.

Small Only
To get the jump off the buzzy, throw it up and catch it midair while it is falling. This conserves its downward momentum and stops it from killing mario when it wakes up.
