In order to get into the wall, hold up and dismount yoshi around this position.
A few different things can be used as visual cues for this, one of the most common is aligning the top of Mario's head with the bottom of the ceiling.

Beating the urchin before the clip section is really tight and requires optimal movement. When late, wait for the urchin to stop, then stomp on it with Yoshi to get through.
