Cape Categories
The pipe fly only saves a second, but loses several seconds if missed. This stage can also be flown over normally.

Fast Pipe Fly
This pipe fly enters the pipe faster, but it is more likely that flight meter will be lost.

Grab Backup Cape Strat
Since the cape framerule is always reset on pipe transitions and Mario's speed is always the same, this strat is relatively low risk. It also saves a slight amount of time in No Star World and All Castles. Another slower option for a backup cape is to grab the spring at the end of the level instead.

No Cape Categories
Make sure to leave this stage big in order to damage boost in Choco-Ghost House. The springboard at the end of the stage can be taken across for a mushroom if needed.
